31 Days of Self Love: Day 31

31 Days of Self Love

Day 31: Going forward, how can you commit to loving yourself every day?

I commit to giving myself space and time…because everyone needs that sometimes

I commit to asking for help a little more often…because I’m terrible at it and people do want to help (I see you Haresh!)

I commit to investing in things that bring me joy…because when I don’t write or laugh or sing aloud I feel like I’m not quite living

I commit to continuing to putting my words into the world…because that makes me feel whole

I commit to spending time thinking about the future and what I want…because no one else can do that for me and not spending the time is not moving me forward

I commit to thinking about myself first, even if it’s just for 30 minutes a day…and then taking actions that benefit me

I commit to being on my own side and not worrying about who isn’t…because who needs them when I’ve got me and my people

To all of you who have gone on the 31 day Self Love Journey this May, I appreciate you. Being vulnerable and being seen can be hard, but life isn’t worth living without putting it all on the table and believing that the universe and all the goodness around you will show up on your behalf from time to time.
