Personal perspectives on faith, literature, and life.

I slept this morning until 8:30. That NEVER happens. And it was delightful.

I had lunch with Zach, Sara, Marshall, Lesley, Ukiah, and Lacey and it was lovely. My life and roots do not go deep with these people but I’m grateful that I am able to be genuinely myself in all regards. Grateful for good conversation and meeting of the spirit. (And I’m super excited that Lacey is going to come spend the night with me next weekend!)

I know I know….I am grateful for books a lot. I can’t help it. I finished three books over the course of the last 3 days and each one was so different, well written, and important for me. I love that my brain has stopped churning or seeking to be numbly entertained (a thing I fall into sometimes like so many others) and that I’m devouring books this week. YAY!!!
