Personal perspectives on faith, literature, and life.

I woke up a little later than planned and rushed out the door in about 20 minutes. I am so grateful that the traffic cooperated all the way from Beacon Hill to Anacortes.

Spent the day with my sweet cousin Emily. So strange to see yourself reelected in another person so close to your age and with some similar and some different history. Such a blessing to laugh and tell stories and share life today. Huge blessing! And the Margaritas weren’t bad either.

Open Water

I loved my ferry ride to and from Orcas and the time we spent eating at an Oceanside Resort. Does my heart good to be near the water and now I’m plotting my next island wander. There are so many islands to explore and many of them can be day trips. Can’t wait!
