Long, good day

This day was long. It was hard. And it was manageable. Grateful for that.

Walking Away

Had a moment today where I was trying to get information from someone and they blew me off. I made a passing comment as I walked way that I didn’t like being laughed at and then I walked back to my desk, put on my headphones, and unwound the knot. Moments later this person came to me, offered to help, and changed their tune. I refuse to pretend things are okay. But I also refuse to be drawn into stupid shit. Grateful for wisdom.

Started reading Ruby by Cynthia Bond. I can tell there will be all sorts of triggers in this small book and yet the words are so rhythmic and lovely. Must be done. Protect me Jesus.
