Getting the Hell Out

I left on the earliest flight possible to get out of Seattle for a few days. I needed to get away from the past several months. Months that have involved decisions about jobs and lovers and the future…none of which have turned out as I’d hoped. Getting the hell out should help me get some perspective. At least I sure hope so.

Sangiovese and a Dear Friend

Bought a bottle of wine, some amazing Italian food, and laughed, cried, and otherwise caught up with my dearest friend Linda. She keeps me grounded and helps me consider flight.
