Personal perspectives on faith, literature, and life.

My commute took an hour and 20 minutes to get home tonight. That is crazy and never happens. I am grateful for distractions so that I was able to not freak out about it all.

I got home and went right back to work on a few things tonight. It wasn’t the way I wanted to spend my evening but it was the way I DID spend my evening and night. It was late before I was done with enough critical stuff to put myself to bed and rest. It isn’t how I like to spend my evenings but I’m grateful for the progress on the necessary things.

I didn’t want to do anything in terms of making myself food. Instant oatmeal hit the spot and for that I’m so very thankful to the Quaker people. 🙂
