An Old Country Song

A song popped up on my iPod while driving to work that made me smile. It was an old country tune that my Dad likes and I turned it up and sang along. I still love the way that songs can take you so far back or surprise you by the fact that you still know the words.

Had drinks with the OVAL tonight. God…I love those ladies. I’m grateful for this group and for the camaraderie and support of other smart, strong, talented women.

I had 2 of the funniest text exchanges last night before bed with two different friends that I haven’t seen in a while. These two crack me up…one (straight) man telling about his man-crushes and another woman telling me about her latest dating catastrophe. Grateful for the fact that there are so many avenues to communicate.
