Personal perspectives on faith, literature, and life.

Today while others fought battles, I sat at my new desk (in our lame SLU building) writing documents. I should probably have stayed home to do this but instead I went to the office and made tremendous progress while others flailed. Yay for time and availability.

Dinner and my dinner companion were both really lovely. Whiskey, Risotto, Chocolate, Coffee, and a Freshly Laundered Man (as my grandmother would say). Can’t go wrong.

I shouldn’t…but sometimes I LOVE LOVE LOVE that feeling of pure exhaustion that I feel when I finally crawl into bed like right now and realize that for a brief period of time, no one wants or needs anything from me. Hallelujah!
