The Little Things

I put together a little table and a coat rack for my work space at the office today. Mostly because I didn’t like the mess of having my stuff piled on the widow sill or putting my purse and bag on the floor. I feel SO much more organized in my space now. It’s silly but this is how I roll.

Meeting Free Day

A day with no meetings…NEVER HAPPENS! It’s the Unicorn of my weekly schedule. And today was one of those days and it was fabulous. I got caught up on all my peer reviews, answered all the email, and literally pared my task list down to 3 things! THREE!

Whiskey & Unicorns

Spent the evening drinking good whiskey, eating yummy food, and getting my web page tweaked (not twerked…that’s different) by my favorite Web Designer. 🙂

    Dear Leah,

I love how you were so pro-active in improving your situation at work. This is something we don’t see a lot in the real world. In fact, years ago, a lady at work was telling the office manager that she needed to provide some of the workers a $10 item that would have made their work a lot easier. When I said, “It’s really affordable — why not just buy your own?” she looked at me like I was crazy.

Anyway, I am loving your blog.

Gail told me about it yesterday, and you are in my prayers.

You might not remember me (and that’s ok if you don’t because I am kind of “flying under the radar” right now), but we were at Gail and Steve’s Bible study 15 years ago. I always admired you and considered you a role model for our children.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

May the Lord bless you and keep you!

    Best Regards,

Thank you Gwennon. What a wonderful compliment it is to be considered a role model for your children. 🙂 It’s always nice to hear that someone appreciates what you bring to the world. On that note I’m enjoying exploring the poetry on your blog. Thank you for sharing that gift.
