Laughter in the Middle of…

I am grateful for the laughter that comes in the middle of whatever is just not that fucking funny. Today I laughed a couple times in the middle of what was an otherwise extremely frustrating work day. And the laughter in the middle is my favorite kind!

My sweet cousin Sheila extended me grace and understanding today. I’m so grateful to call her my cousin AND my friend.

Seriously…beer is one of my favorite things about Thanksgiving Eve. It is a long tradition with my sweet friend Linda Hobson to get beers together on Thanksgiving Eve. Tonight I did it alone…well…alone with half of West Seattle…and I had a good time talking about the holidays with strangers. I’m blessed with the limited ability to play nice in strange situations…and tonight I used the gift. 🙂
