I was sitting in a conference room across from a leader who had deeply broken my trust, as he told me what I was going to do, how I was going to do it, and why he was just the leader I needed to keep me “in check”. For years, I’d been giving my vision, my energy, and my identity away. But the phrase on repeat in my head at that moment was…

Not one more minute, of one more hour, of one more day.”

Where I’ve been..

I was an excellent student, a reader of books, and a kid who plotted my escape plan to get away from chaos and abuse. So those words “Not one more minute, of one more hour, of one more day” were familiar.

For 20+ years I excelled in solving real customer problems as a Product Manager. I love working with smart people and building cool shit. Engineers, Designers, and other creatives have been my travel companions through startups, scaleups, and big tech.

Along the way I’ve also leaned into my own healing, gotten creative, and taken big leaps in the direction of passion and courage.

What I Value…

Maya Angelou once said,

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.

I hold my beliefs loosely, asking lots of questions and knowing that new information is often around the corner. I believe life’s not worth living if you aren’t saying YES in ways that require a little bit of courage now and then. Surrounding yourself with people who love you as you are and want the best for you, makes the whole experience of living better. As does doing things that light you up, challenge you, and give you room to grow. Finally, I fully believe that each of needs to possess a full sense of personal agency in order to feel grounded, connected and free.

What I Want…

I want every person I interact with to feel more free.

  • Free to speak their truth
  • Free to say “NO” to those who would try to control them
  • Free to say “YES” to every wild dream they can dream
  • Free to be unapologetically and uniquely themselves

And I want to help you get that freedom.

Sometimes that means making changes…big or small. Sometimes it means diving into old stories. Sometimes it means untangling the limiting beliefs that have gotten wrapped up in our minds and hearts.

Who I work with…

Women and men who want to change or leave toxic work environments.

Founders and Executives who care about building work cultures that are challenging and ambitious, without losing their humanity and focus on heart and health for their teams.

Women walking through different seasons of life and what that can mean for our hearts, bodies, and spirits.

Anyone who wants to be a better leader or a better Product Manager.

Tidbits…

I currently live in London, but work with clients in the North America, Europe, and Australia. I am unendingly curious, notoriously outspoken, a little messy, and a lot of fun. I drink strong coffee, prefer craft beer, and have expensive taste in brown liquors. My cats Malcolm and Lucy will show up in our online sessions quite frequently to distract and entertain. I also read all the books I can get my hands, knit, and am learning to play the guitar. Feel free to follow my personal Instagram to keep up with kitties and books (@leahfarmer76).
