No one needs me to say this…least of all Ms Burke…but this book needs to be read. As a survivor, it resonated. And as a white person, it further educated. MeToo was hers before the hashtag. And her ability to talk about the struggle with rape culture, elders, and our deep racism is critical for all people…especially parents of little girls who carry guilt over things they could not control.
