Not sure how I’ve avoided reading this book all these years. Capote was a friend of Harper Lee…and Lee even went with him to Kansas for a time during his research. In Cold Blood was the first of its genre really. True crime novels. Non fiction written like fiction. Creepy. Insightful. And to the extend that humanity includes such broken and cold hearted killers…sad. And for the Clutter family…tragic.
