What a lovely book about a quirky human and her even quirkier friend. A book about plans. A book about being a woman in a field dominated by men. A book about dealing with mental illness, poverty, a tough childhood, becoming a mother…all of it a book about following your passion and the surprising places where we find deep abiding forever friendship. Also I don’t know what Bill looks like…but I’ve got a major crush on him.
