Thank you Martha Beck. After I read The Way of Integrity, I remembered I’d always meant to read this. So today I did. Though not raised Mormon, I was raised in a fundamentalist church that perpetuated a lot of spiritual abuse particularly on girls and women. I was also raised in a family where there was anger and abuse. I’ve done a ton of work to move through it all. And your story helps. Your healing work continues.
