I remember reading the blog post of the same name a few years back and appreciating the challenge to my privilege. Obviously moving to the UK, I want to educate myself on the issue of race and how to be a good ally in this form of systemic racism. I want to be a good partner and understand what is similar and different. As a white woman, I know we have been extremely complicit in the whitewashing of feminism and I also want to continue to learn and be open to growth in this area.
